Robert A. Chapnick, Esq.

Robert A. Chapnick, Esq. began his legal career with the Nassau County District Attorney's Office in 2001. He completed the Assistant District Attorney Training Program in 2002, where he learned many of the tactics and skills he still employs today. While working in the District Attorney's Office, Mr. Chapnick prosecuted hundreds of cases of virtually every type, gaining experience and honing his trial skills. He finally left in 2003 to pursue his own law practice.

When Mr. Chapnick first opened his services to the public, he started practicing Criminal Defense Law. His extensive experience made him especially effective when handling DWI (Driving While Intoxicated) cases. As he was referred cases by other attorneys, including those specializing in other disciplines, he expanded his practice. He began practicing Family Law and Matrimonial Law, assisting people with their divorces, child custody and support, prenuptial agreements, and other related matters.

Mr. Chapnick is an accomplished trial lawyer. Not one single client of Mr. Chapnick's has ever been convicted of the top charged count after trial.
